What a cute little Cafe! Menu varies, but all fresh prepared. The nicest people. Very relaxed and comfortable. Okoboji is lucky to have this new addition to the lunch scene!

The staff member who served us was the absolute sweetest, the food was delicious and the two drinks were so flavorful! I forgot to get a photo of my meal but it was great. I did snag a photo of the cutest piece of mini banana bread! The vibe in this place was very calm and artsy! Great place for a catch up with three friends.

The crowds sure are busy in Okoboji. Lines are 45 minutes plus the wait for food. However, if you want a chill, cool, relaxing spot with little wait, Monarch Art Cafe is the place. The music is refreshing, the owner is patient, kind, attentive, personable, and she treats you like family. The food? FRESH and full of flavor! It's homemade with lots of love ! The coffee? Also amazing. You won't leave disappointed. We came back to eat here again because the food, coffee and service was excellent. We played some games while we waited-also a great place for kids, too! I highly recommend!

All good. Everyone. It's a place with a super big smile. I feel some guests are just not use to a person in this area / community of other than white. Jusy being honest. Hey we to im Mexican American love coffee shops too. Bit it's the owner who make my coffee time worth going there. Oh and the Mexican vanilla from Mexico that I've been able to purchase. This takes me back years because we as as family would bring back the same when we'd go visit my moms grandpa. My great grand dad. And cross into Mexico and shop. Thsnks I appreciate the hellos and good coffee. Jose'

The atmosphere is delightful. Love all the art. The latte I had was probably the best ever. Delicious pastries, and the other food looked amazing. But it must be said that you simply can't go here for a to-go drink, lol. I was leaving town after a wedding and stopped in, and getting one latte to-go took 25 minutes. Tempted to put three stars but it was too adorable for that. This would be 5 stars for sure for dining in, and I'd take cute local place over a drive-through chain any day, but I would have preferred a heads-up that it was going to be awhile since I had a 4-hour drive ahead of me. I'll be back, and it'll be when I can dine in, be leisurely, and not worry about timing!

The atmosphere of the Monarch Art Cafe is cozy and relaxing! The staff are such amazing souls and put passion into their craft. As an out of state visitor, this was such a great place to sit down, relax, and get some work done. My oatmilk honey latte was pure bliss, and the quiche was one of the best I have ever had. If you aren't in a rush, and want a relaxing atmosphere to hang out for a bit, this is the place to go! I will definitely be bringing friends and family here the next time I am in town.
